Feed checker status
Reedah uses feed checkers to watch your RSS and Atom feeds for new articles and add them to your account. This page shows how well they're keeping up.

Reading the charts
- Checking delay is the average time a feed has been waiting beyond its scheduled check time. The average should stay close to zero; our goal is under an hour. The worst case is the single most overdue feed: it’s usually much higher due to reasons outside our control. (This isn’t how often feeds are checked, or how long an article takes to appear after it’s published.)
- How often feeds are checked: each feed is checked on its own schedule, which adapts to how often it changes. A feed that posts several times an hour is checked every few minutes; one that posts once a month, much less often.
- Feed status: a breakdown of the most recent check status across feeds; whether they were checked successfully or experienced some type of error. This excludes feeds that are not being checked actively and have been marked ‘dormant’.
The data is updated about every hour.
